Last Monday marked the first day of school for us and I am happy to report that we all survived the first week.
Everyone enthusiastically jumped out of bed last Monday morning, eager to start the day and begin a brand new school year.
After a quick breakfast, the boys grabbed their backpacks and just before we headed out the door, they agreeably posed for the obligatory "First Day of School Picture".
As the week wore on, I began to notice that the snooze bar was being hit more frequently with each passing day, and boy, we were never so glad to see Friday morning arrive-lol.
Although it will take a bit of an adjustment, it's a good thing for all of us to be back into our routine.
